Gorgeous reflection! The parallel between marital and divine grace is doing real conceptual work here, especialy how you frame grace as enabling growth rather than just absolving failure. Its intresting that the felt-sense of undeserved love persists even when you intellectualy recognize behavioral conditions matter. That gap between the cortex-level rationalization and the pre-verbal expereince suggests grace might be somthing we encounter affectively before we can theologically systematize it.
